👩🔧🚌🕉🌎 Seeking chronic wellness in a converted school bus.
To you this may look like a mess, but to me it looks like VICTORY!! The wheelchair lift stopped working. I added some hydraulic fluid thanks to some insight from @coloradocustomcoachworks and it's working again! There is definitely a leak somewhere so I cleaned the area and will check it again in a week or two to hopefully find the source. FYI it takes Airplane Hydraulic Fluid (not oil) and can also use heavy duty hydraulic fluid (made for farm equipment) if you aren't near an airplane supply place, lol. In the meantime, I am once again able to use my lift and close the door behind it! Phew! Also I finally just plugged in my tank heater, so now my H2O will be 45 degrees instead of barely-not-frozen water. Sweet. 😎
So much has happened in these past couple of weeks, including a new view! (Side note, snow, ugh, cold but pretty.) Stay tuned to see all the newly built bits inside my housebus! 🙌
Can you tell how exhaus-er-excited I am??! This project was not without challenges in every single step of the way. It bit me, twice, and I am so glad to have this roof hole filled with an amazing incredible gigantic boat hatch! Woohoo! 🎉
Just a few more steps until this amazing thing fills the big open hole in my roof! 🎉
When things are coming together you can never have too many clamps. That is all. 😉
My goal today is to finish this custom mount for the boat hatch. Back to work. So much fun. So many projects to go. So little time. 😶😥
Welding is actually mostly grinding.💪😬 ...fabricating the mount for my boat hatch.
You might think the second time around is easier... nope! 😳 This custom mount is more complicated because this skylight/hatch will be able to open, allowing access onto the rooftop (future deck).
Throw 👈 back. In just a couple more weeks I'll be out of the city and back to nature! Oh, the places we'll go...
Functioning kitchen drawers and this sweet beast. 👏👏 Good rising, friends. Feeling the need for some friend/community support, if you've got the capacity please reach out! 🤗
"It's great to have plans for the future, but don't forget about today. What a waste it would be to miss it."
OMG DRAWERS! It's useful to have two drills, one to make the holes and the other to screw with. 💪😜 Thanks @makewayconcepts for showing me the right way to get this project [closer to] done! ✔
Things are happening. So many things. All of the happening.
