🤕🛠💸👩🔧 Artist--Builder--Consultant--Healer--Traveler--Writer seeking chronic wellness in a converted school bus. 🔮🏡🕉🌎
I dream about my bed when I'm not home... anyone else? 🛌😴
Looking around I'm continually reminded of all the love I receive. My home (and heart!) are filled with gifts from friends. 😘💓🚍🏡
Traveling the abyss Where memory sits Evenings turn late Reminiscing a past date Rereading thoughts Which once were lost Judging who we once were As these years became a blur It isn't so much about who I am now It's so much much more, about the how. ✌
No more wonky boxes... I'm taking a course to learn how to use a CNC machine! A Computer Numeric Control tool is some crazy awesome technology which uses software to create precision designed cuts - in this case with wood as my working material. I'm generally a hands-on/technologically slow kind of human but it's been really cool to learn how to do all this (and how much easier any project can be with the right tools!) 👩🏫🤓
Radiator-face likes to eat bugs.
"Everyone brings joy - some when they come and some when they go." 😋🖖
When you're a badass woman building your own house and dreams... sometimes impromptu photoshoots happen! 📸 Tag some friends who deserve a high five and recognition for all the hard work they do to make their dreams come true. 👋 Hey friends, you're awesome - keep it up!! ☄
Tried to come up with a good fruit pun but the only ones involving cantaloupes are about their lack of ability to run away and get married. 😣🤦♀️ That's what I get for having fruit for dinner. [In a bus.]
Inside I've changed a lot but on the outside I still look the same. - this bus (and the rest of us)
An awesome friend made this cutting board! Isn't it gorgeous?!?! I'm thinking of making drawer faces that'll look like this... What do ya think?
Lifehack: fall asleep in your clothes, wake up already dressed in the morning! 😌 lol, bonus points if you're like me and 98% of your wardrobe is stretchy clothes which might as well be pajamas anyway... Also, reading books is a nice thing & totally a lifehack for leaving your reality for a new one (temporarily). Have a great weekend, folks! 😋
Blooming sweetly here is where I meet me Everything's showing An inner knowing Passively flowing and Actively growing. 💐💐💐 Sometimes a lady's gotta buy her own flowers, and these lilies were so fragrant I couldn't resist!
The next "big-but-not-super-expensive" project on my list is to build slider drawers for the kitchen... then I'll have a proper place for all the pots, pans and dishes. THEN who knows what all these cubbies will be filled with?!? Maybe pantry foods? Open to suggestions! Also induction cooktops rock and eventually I'll figure out a better drainage solution for the sink (which has RUNNING WATER! Still beyond happy about that milestone!) 😁👩🔧 Also also, yes that's a little pineapple top.🍍
There's an important balance being found within myself, between the need for routines and the yearning for adventure. Routines help maintain my self-care, like drinking this delicious plant-based protein smoothie in the mornings.☕ However -and this is a huge however- too much of anything can be not so great, and too many routines stifle my spirit. It's great to feel comfortable but too much comfort leads to stagnation. My greatest growth periods and productivity are sparked by a need to make whatever is going on better. 🕉 Again, finding that balance is key. I'm building and growing and yearning for more, all while doing my best to establish healthy self-care routines. Taking the responsibility to give myself better care results in an improvement in my ability to do all the things I want to do!💪 I strongly encourage you to do the same. Nothing is better than loving yourself (and proving it day by day!)🙋♀️
I live in a yellow submarine! Er- surterra? (Gramatically-inclined joke, anyone?) 😉 Yesterday I focused on cleaning, organizing and unpacking. These books found themselves a good place to be for now, until they get a real home on a yet-to-be-made future bookshelf. 😁
This glorious adventure-mobile has already taken me to so many places I'd never explored before & taught me so many more lessons than I could have imagined. Buslife hasn't just taught me how to build but it's taught me a lot about myself (and the people around me.) So grateful for the incredible community us tiny travelers have created for each other!
My home is looking a bit different these days... much emptier and cleaner with just me living in it. This photo was from a few weeks ago as I'm currently moving back in and reorganizing everything just right! Can't wait to share the updated version & keep on building. Life changes, y'all!! 💓🙆♀️
