So ... this popped up on my “Facebook memories” this morning. For years I NEVER thought I had much of an external / physical transformation. But clearly this photo shows more. #yourewelcomefortheoldandnewsweatyselfies ;) Today, May 26, 2019 marks my 4 year anniversary of when I “officially” started my first at home workout, 21 Day Fix Extreme. I say “official” because I had played with T25 for about a month prior to this … but my workouts weren’t consistent … I didn’t have the support of an accountability group … and I was NOT drinking Shakeology { I don’t need that “stuff” … or so I thought } … APPARENTLY I needed it all! ❤ I needed structure. ❤ I needed a group to be accountable to. ❤ I needed a program that worked my body and told me exactly what to do {former lost gym rat} ❤ I clearly NEEDED my daily superfoods {can you SEE how inflamed my face is here? … yup Shakeo helps with curing inflammation too!!!} ❤ And I needed those cute colored containers that I THOUGHT I’d never use!!! 🙈 My body was a mess. At this point I was gluten and dairy free but something still wasn’t right in my body. I had done my own elimination diet for about a year and I thought I was better … but this pic shows different. #thankssuperfoods Did you know that today … 4 years later … I am THE EXACT SAME WEIGHT as I was in 2015 on this day … EXACT!! #ditchthescale I’m healthier … I’m happier … My body is cured … I know how to treat myself … I know it’s important as a busy mama to just focus 30 min a day on ME! … And I KNOW it works … I was a skeptic … I was a non-believer … If you’re the same .... I would LOVE to talk. I’ve been there … and there is NO way in hell I’m ever going back!!!

Easy is earned... . . and today was not easy! . I’ll let you in on a secret, I despise push-ups. I suck at them. I basically had my shoulder rebuilt at 22 and still fight with it regularly. And push-ups are still my nemesis. . Today’s workout called for 60 of them. 😱🤬 But, one thing I have learned in my years as a trainer is in order to get better at your weaknesses, you have to actually work on them! . So even though I wanted to cheat (and no one would have known) and not do all of those damn push-ups, I did them anyway. Because easy is earned. And those damn things won’t be easy until I do a bit more work on them! . What is your nemesis exercise??
