I really struggled to press play today. I wanted to stay up in the sun room. It’s December in Iowa and we don’t get these nice sunny days very often. I knew skipping would not make me feel my best all day and my accountability group girls were all up and getting it done, so I brought my weights into the sunroom, and pushed play. So thankful all I really need to get an amazing full body workout, is a phone/laptop. The hardest part is literally pushing play. Don’t need a ton of space, I just modify when needed. Once I was done, I was so glad I did it, then headed outside to walk my dog ❤️🐶. #athomeworkout #bodyweightworkout #vitamind #beagles #healthylifestyle #fitnessmotivation #justdoit #boymomlife

Burpee law states that when going for 100 reps, the more you do in the first set, the less sets you have to do overall! 😂 - December challenge #2 in progress, was able to rep out 30 for my first set, if I still feel good when I hit 100 I may rep out some more to make up for having to take a week off to let my back recover! - Who else gets motivated more when faced with a challenge? I know I do!

Wait till you see us at our wedding next October 💪🏼🍑 I’m going to be honest having him so motivated to workout is helping me SO much. My fiancé has never really been into fitness or working out so I’ve worked out alone the past 4 years probably 99% of the time. But thankfully he made a friend who’s into fitness & so my fiancé’s going to be meeting up with his friend during the week & that gives me no excuse to not go to the gym & get my workout done as well! I LOVE having no question about just getting up out of bed in the morning & going because you have to be there at a certain time! If you work out alone and struggle with motivation and just getting yourself there, I highlyyyy recommend finding someone to work out with. (I act like I have a workout partner 😂 but hey my fiancé does so I’m just going to pretend I’m going to meet my workout partner too)

No matter how slow you go, you’re still running rings around the person sitting on the couch.💪 . I struggled. I sweat. I modified. I had to stop in the middle of a workout just to breathe for a second before I continued. But - I CONTINUED. . I keep a paper calendar taped on my bathroom mirror, and every day I workout I write it down. Some weeks, every day has a note. Others, maybe just one or two days. This week, I worked out 4 times.💕 . You’re more likely to IMPROVE what you TRACK, and that’s definitely the case for me! Seeing what I did last week vs this week makes me want to do better today than I did the day before. . Right now these workouts are kicking my 🍑. But someday, they’re gonna be my warmup.🙌

🤰39 weeks!!! 🤰(Plus a few days!!) . Baby is about the size of a box of a dozen donuts. Too bad I don't have the stomach capacity for anything close to that!! 😉 . >> Not much to say really... Still pregnant, and I'm alright with that for now. It's been a fairly good week as far as being pregnant goes! It hasn't been as painful as a few weeks ago were (or I'm just getting used to it...). >> I walk with a waddle for a bit after I have been sitting for a while, but it works itself out after a while! >> I think we're getting closer on deciding on a name! I at least don't feel like it's hopeless anymore 😁 So yay for that! >> My bag is about 50% packed and baby's is about 80% probably... I'm not all crazy worried about having the 'right' stuff this time, so whatever I end up in there we'll make due with! (Poor second child!) >> Glad we have this weekend to rest up and clean and prepare and all that! I just wrapped the last of our Christmas presents, so I guess we're ready now! 🎄 >> Samuel knows his brother will be here for Christmas, so hopefully he's REALLY ready!!! For years I was missing that community feel that helped me be successful and feel like I belonged! I loved that feeling when I was in school on sports teams- when everyone is rooting for you and pushing you to be better! But it’s because of that feeling that made me want to be a coach and BRING that community feel to all the others who need it too! But thank god for those girls in there that do more for me then I think I do for them! I got home ready to eat lunch and take a nap before I checked in and saw over half the group had already logged their days workout and told me how they wouldn’t let their excuses keep them from their goals this coming week. Hey there...yes I’m talking to you. I know life pulls us all in every different direction and sometimes we can’t even slow down just to catch our breath. • Believe me, I know the feeling. Today, I found myself trying to do so much that I didn’t see what I did have in front of me. The stress of different things in my life took over and my body felt it. So I stopped.... and I thought about all that I do have. I have my whole family back home right now for the upcoming holidays. I have a place I can call home, mess and all! I have a wonderful husband who tries to make sure I’m always happy. I have my health. Health is a funny thing. It can be a fleeting thing, so I chose to take control of it as much as I can. Because I want to enjoy everything I do have for as long as I can. Because I deserve it just like you do. Because my family deserves the best from me too and I can’t give all of myself from a half empty cup. So today I ask you...are you ready to take control of what you can? Anyone else grinding for the day they get to live life by their own rules? . Woke up in SUCH a funk today. At home Abs with Molly! 😅 > ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Did this abs circuit 4 x through. 🔥🔥 Elbow plank x 45 sec High plank x 45 sec Up downs x 25 sec each arm Side to side x 45 sec Forward back x 45 sec Rest 90 sec > ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Molly not necessary for the workout. She actually made it very difficult if you couldn’t tell in the videos 😂 (those were the good rounds)! > ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also, first time for a swipe workout.. do you prefer these? > ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TIPS: in the last video you’ll see how to tuck your hips under when doing a plank. This will activate your abs, amongst other muscles, and take the strain off of your back.

I typically stick with heavy weights but when you’re short on equipment throwing in some body weight exercises can be a great alternative. These also help to increase mobility and core strength. . Kickback w/ pause: Try your best to keep your foot flat and not point your toes. Pause at the top for 2-3 seconds then release. Try 3-4 sets of 15/side. . Plank Jack Variation: Keep your core tight and don’t let your hips dip or rise too much. Also keep weight shifted forward through shoulders/palms. Try 4 sets of 30-45 sec. . Plank Tap Variation: Just like the jacks keep your core tight, hips in alignment and focus on not letting your pelvis sway side to side. Remember you can always slow down the movement or lower the rand of motion. Try 3-4 sets of 30-45 seconds. . Shrimp cauli fried rice. So good, so easy! I use the frozen cauliflower rice, pea and carrot blend. Sautee with sesame oil and coconut aminos. Thaw frozen precooked shrimp and heat in a little butter and garlic and add to "rice" mixture. Takes less than 10 minutes. Bonus- Caroline loves it too!

Wanna up your #corestrength ? Give this move a try! Start off by seeing how many reps you can do without breaking form, then repeat that number for 3 or 4 sets. You'll feel the burn, trust me! . Remember to keep your lower back on the ground! If you feel it arching, dont lower your legs as much, keep them more at a 45° angle. . Also...keep the movement nice and smooth and controlled! No need to rush these! . I used 5lb (each) ankle weights and a 15lb dumbell overhead. . I had lost 15lbs using 21 day fix then A Little Obsessed, and running at that point (started 2/2018). I also had dropped 2 dress sizes and my bra cup size changed!! • • The Right ➡️ picture is present day. I weigh more now than I did on the left! But I am down sizes in dress, pants, shirts, underwear, bra, swimsuit. • • I am stronger! I am healthier! I can run faster! • • Stick with it!!!
