We are officially 8 weeks out from our first show of the year. After yesterday’s refeed day we are..... the exact same weight as we were last weekend. 151.4 this morning. My average weight during the week however dropped 1lb so we made some progress this week. We aren’t doing anything real crazy. Still eating a good amount and not doing a ton of cardio is putting us in a good spot at the moment. A ton of time left to fine tune this physique leading into October. 1. A instinctual fear of being different than others. (Take it back to surviving in packs and that requires acceptance of others)🐺⁣ 2. Not enough positive interactions and exposure to others who are different. (And different usually means a minority- In this case I’m talking about F A T ) 🔎⁣ 3. Creates a stereotype & stigmas through which people can attribute their differences to. ⁣ 4. Lack of education regarding our bodies. (Hiii genetics, proper nutrition education including how our needs change as we age & risks of under feeding) 📚⁣ 5. Diet culture invasion (idea that health = thinness = good & everyone should be on a mission to be smaller/leaner/toned) ✂️⁣ 6. Diet culture being the NORMAL!!!! Aka being ACCEPTED by the majority of people.⁣ ⁣ No wonder why over 30 million people in the US alone suffer from at least one eating disorder. Think about all of the MONEY behind these messages of glorifying thinness cloaked in “health”. Hmmm🧐⁣ ⁣ What a perfect equation for diet culture because no one wants to be an outcast. (Think about the young girls in your life.) ❤️⁣ Diet culture has entrenched itself in society, detaching ourselves from our body instinctual knowledge of maintaining the weight our bodies WANT to be at!!! ⁣ It promises weight loss and acceptance by others. If we just keep pushing off eating or try another juice cleanse we might just see the results everyone else has???❌⁣ ⁣ Let’s keep the autonomy of our own bodies and mental health. Educate yourself, teach others, & keep working toward radical acceptance. ✨ (ps the last part will give you more peace than any diet will 💋) ⁣ ⁣

Delicious chocolate bread easy to make and even easier to eat 😋 a healthy way to feed your family one 💞 plus you got interesting amount of protein 💪🏻 2 cups oats flour ~ 1/2 cup greek yogurt plain ~ 1tsp salt ~ 2 eggs~ 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey ~ 1 tbsp coconut oil ~ 1 cup vegan milk - 1 tsp baking powder ~ 1/2 cup black chocolate chips ~ 30 min. At 350F.
