Happppy Monday guys 😍 new week means a fresh chance to go after whatever your goals are 💪🏼 I’m really going into this week with a strong mindset. 2 super good workouts back to back, everything seems to be falling into place. Cada vez que voy por suplementos el primero que agarro es PROTEÍNA porque es uno de los que más estudios e investigaciones sobre sus beneficios y efectos tiene en el organismo. Les comparto un poco para aquellos que no se animan a tomarlas y que aún no saben en qué momento del día hacerlo. #Quicknote La proteina es un suplemento casi ideal para su consumo intra-sesión y post-entrenamiento: La proteína de suero es una de las fuentes de proteína más rápidamente digeridas y absorbidas, pues se descompone en cadenas de amino ácidos que pasan al intestino incluso más rápido que la mayo- ría de amino ácidos individuales. Esta digestión requiere de una cantidad relativamente pequeña de enzimas digestivas, lo que hace a la proteína de suero una gran elección para consumir amino ácidos INTRA SESIÓN, ya que es poco probable que ésta cause malestar gástrico durante el entrenamiento fuerte. Su velocidad de absorción también la convierten en una gran candidata en su rol de nutriente intra-sesión y especialmente POST ENTRENAMIENTO, pues está disponible para estimular el anabolismo y reducir el catabolismo en un margen de tiempo muy pequeño. Esta no es una ventaja enorme, pero probablemente sí cuenta a largo plazo si se usa como un suplemento regularmente. Today’s the day. After 4 tests. I am ready to share. PROTEIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BALLS!! I am always trying to find a way to make higher protein snacks because the bars from the store just don’t cut it for me. I still eat them when it’s convenient but I’d much rather have something without the extra ingredients. These balls have only 6!! Not to mention only 115 calories and in less than 5 minutes you can have your snack for the week done. Yes PLEASE! #dEATs belowwww 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 ~1 scoop unflavored protein(I use @cabotcheese whey) ~3 tb almond flour ~4 tb powdered Pb (I use @pbfit) ~1 tb melted coconut oil ~1 tb pure maple syrup ~2-3 tsp water** ~1 tsp mini chocolate chips In a medium sized bowl combine protein powder, almond flour and peanut butter. Stir in the maple syrup and coconut until the mixture becomes crumbly. Add 1 tsp of water, mix, then the other, mix. Lastly, add in your mini chips. The “dough” will still be a little crumbly but will come together as you apply pressure to it. Squeeze 1-2 tb of dough in your hand and form the ball. **add as much water as you like, the more you add the doughier (and stickier) it will be, this is just the consistency I prefer Macros (if you make 5 balls) 115 cals 6.5 f 6 c 8.1 p

Hope this is ok to Share... so true! Last year, we spent $72 billion on diet and weight loss products and programs. Each year this number increases as we keep searching for the quick fix, magic bullet, easy answer that's going to work this time. All of these weight loss and health gimmicks trigger something deep inside us that makes us feel like they'll give us the perfect body, perfect life and ultimate happiness. We want to believe all of our hopes, dreams and goals are just one small change and juice detox away. The reality is that making true and lasting changes is a long, tough road that requires work, discipline and consistent effort, and changes in your body and weight aren't the golden ticket to a perfect life. There are NO cleanses, exogenous ketones, detoxes, low carb cookies, or supplements that will bring you happiness. There's a heck of a lot more to life than how you look, a number on the scale and/or 'seeing your abs'. So today, instead of buying into the rampant diet culture, make an investment in YOU and in living your best life - and believe it or not, this can totally be accomplished without coconut oil.
