Last year at this time, I was in the middle of an 80 day workout program I was sure I wouldn’t be able to finish because the workouts were so long and I “didn’t have time” to fit them in. . But, I didn’t give up, I finished it with the support of my family and my fitness family! . This school year, I knew working out in the evening wasn’t in the cards because of the kids schedules with dance, chorus, band, jazz band, Tae Kwon Do, and Pageturners so, I set my alarm for 4:15am😳 thinking I’d never be able to stick to it! . But I did, even when I was staying up late painting our new bedroom, I still got up early because I know I’m a better wife, mom, aunt, sister, friend and teacher when I feel better physically and feel better about myself mentally! . Spirit week at school definitely took me out of my comfort zone! . Clashing Monday was tough(I might be a little #ocd ). . Pajama day was tougher! Do you see what is missing in the pic of my feed on the left? . If you know me, you know I hate having my picture taken, always have and probably always will! . But now my stories and my feed include me!! . So what changed? . Most of you are probably thinking it’s the weight loss but it’s not, it’s my mindset! . I also want to stick around for as long as I can and based on my family history, if I don’t get my health under control the length of my stay on this planet is limited!
