They said “I do” 48 years ago...before the internet during a war had two kids and multiple jobs making a house a home became grandparents to my nephews seen tears and smiles felt pain and joy experienced heartache and cheer fought but never gave up and have loved endlessly.... All because they did 48 years ago and still do! My parents
I have coached in over 500 jv, varsity and college games now for swim and water polo…I have seen the human heart at its finest and weakest, I have also heard every excuse in the book, I have been a part of championship teams and well not championship teams and the one thing I love hearing from opposing teams more than anything…Is your team has fun! So let me ask you a question why are you not? I’ll always remember this one team said to me “why does your team sing a lot, they seem to play around and waste time”…If you enjoy wasting time is it really a waste? I have had athletes move on to the next level and I have had athletes move on to serve this Country, become young professionals, etc…and if they learned anything I hope it was to enjoy their experience! So sing today, enjoy today and if 10 minutes seems like a waste of time but you loved it…Do it! Thank you for the memories San Diego Miramar college men’s water polo, I had fun coaching you! Also a big thank you to the coaches that went on this journey with me @jco04 @dochsner2 @rachellayne27 and a huge thank you to @ajenningspolo and Joey Kienle for all their support!!!
Thank you! Thank you to those who have trusted me with your fitness journey, with your housing process, to the athletes I’ve coached, employees I managed, thank you. Thank you to those that have giving me the opportunity to be grateful. Happy Thanksgiving ~
Thankful for these little turkeys (nephews)...tonight my family celebrated thanksgiving because my brother a firefighter, and sister n law is a nurse sacrifice their time helping others. #grateful Last video is also what I am thankful for....(Denali & pizza)
Meet my dad, a Veteran. But I know him as a father, a friend, a husband, a son, a grandfather and someone who cares for everyone he meets, especially fellow veterans. Instead of saying thank you, which is a kind and respected gesture. He goes a step further and each year at this time donates 100 pair of socks to the VA hospital. On any given night roughly 40,000 veterans experience homelessness in our nation. This year I accompanied him to drop them off and was shocked how many vets, young and old, walked in and out of the hospital in such a short span of my time. Driving back home my dad said, “just imagine if just half of San Diego bought one pair and donated.” These veterans lack the basic essentials that we take for granted. Thank you on being a continued example of giving, love and compassion. That war is over but the battles are still going on for so many. Thank you dad! Thank a Vet! Give when you can!
Tonight I'm doing one of my favorite events again, my annual camp out...and public service announcement for Lions Tigers & Bears, a non-profit rescue group in Alpine, California dedicated to providing safe refuge for unwanted and abused exotic animals. As one of the few big cat sanctuaries in the United States, it works tirelessly to ensure that the public is well educated about the growing number of abandoned animals that fall under this category. Moreover, it also seeks to provide good nutrition, medical care, immunizations, and the necessary physical and psychological aid the furry friends under their care may need.
